MADAR Anti-Bullying Campaign

Today Madar International School has started its anti-bullying campaign. We want to encourage everyone to not take part in any form bullying and be a school who is respectful, tolerant and unified. Special thanks to Mariam in 11G1 for her posters which will be shared all around the school for our students.
MIS 6th Football Tournament

MIS hosted the 6th annual football tournament! Congratulations to our girls team who WON and well done to our boys team who were unlucky to lose in the final. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this tournament a success our gratitude to everyone involved. Students of MADAR took the top goalscorer, best player and best goalkeeper award. Special thanks to Mrs Hind and Mr Suhaib for organising a great tournament and memorable day for all the schools involved.

Parents Committee Show Appreciation

Madar parents committee got together to show their appreciation for the facility workers in MIS. As the cold season approaches and a recent down pour of rain left some of our staff drenched, jumpers, gloves and hats were gifted to the staff who spend a lot of time outside of the building. They were personally thanked by our principal for their fantastic work. Our parents committee, principal and vice principal wanted to show their appreciation by gifting our maintenance team. Making an impact

Madar initiative to reduce paper waste has started well. We have in our first month saved 2.5 trees as well as 57 gallons of water. October we started the 'an infofort initiative' where all around the school boxes made with recycled papers are used to collect any paper waste. The boxes are emptied at the end of every month. The report for our first month collection has shown positive results as we recycle to improve our impact on today’s environment.

UAE University Tolerance Olympiad

UAE university is hosting the 'Tolerance Olympiad' for schools of Al Ain. Madar is participating in the games with our senior boys team. The competition runs over three days and our students will compete in basketball, fitness, swimming, table tennis, football and volleyball. We want to wish all of our students taking part the best of luck! Yesterday our basketball team was beaten and unable to win a medal but we look forward to achieving gold in the other events.
UAE FLAG DISCUSSION

This is to inform you that we have successfully had an open discussion between H.H Shaikh Theyab bin Buti, Mr. Rakad Al Ameri and other VIPs.
